It's such a strange entity to me, more strangely than Dostoyevsky or Rousseau.
Those 2 were hated; Dostoyevsky was waiting once for his execution, when the Tsar forgives him in the last minute, while Rousseau spends his life running away from people condemning him, because he was simply thinking.
Now to Wittgenstein, he was not understood; he had not published any books. I have the biggest grudge on one of my favorite writers Deleuze, for making fun of Wittgenstein in front of a whole class filmed on camera.
This guy refused to be called a philosopher, every person i know refuses to mention him or speak about him.
Still, you can find courses in some universities in the world teaching a course by the name "Wittgenstein" as simple as that.
On the other hand, when I found out what the guy was trying to say, I made it my task for a few years to start explaining the simplest theory he introduced, yet the most difficult.
This guy basically transcended mysticism and religion without meaning it, by simply making a few linguistic approaches.
He literally justified paganism without meaning it.
The multitude of Gods, and the NECESSITY of the multitude of Gods as much as the one God, the silly idea which we decided to do, by combining them all, some romantic idea, that blinded us and made us conquer the world in the name of God.
Oh hey! I was thinking the other day and I discovered that if we join all the Gods together we can call them God. Creative name huh?
Oh and by the way, can I kill you now if you don't admit I'm 100% right?
Pretty please???
